About the role

Drive execution of managed care initiatives, financial and operational performance with engagement and management of key payer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of managed care initiatives, financial and operational performance with engagement and management of key payer relationships.
  • Coordinate and manage relevant payer meetings to facilitate relationships and resolution of issues.
  • Research and escalate emerging payer issues and drive problem resolution.
  • Develop and implement strategic and operational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are current and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Make recommendations based on changes and trends in the area of managed care, reimbursement and applicable state and federal regulatory environment.
  • Analyze and interpret system-wide information and provide system and local level leadership with observations and action plans to address trends.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define strategic priorities, clarify scope of work, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Drive issue resolution by proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Reinforce the preparation and development process of presentations, financial reports, and operational metrics to enhance decision making.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management
  • Additional Preferences: 3-5 years of leadership experience, running executive level meetings, preferred.
  • 3-5 years of working on either payer or provider side, preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with claim payer provider issues and resolutions, a must have.
