About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team in the banking domain in our Tampa, Florida Hybrid (2 days in the office) work location. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring technologies, and SQL / NoSQL databases. Familiarity with React.js, Python, and AI/LLM technologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
- Implement solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Work closely with the Tech Lead, architects, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical implementations.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality.
- Debug and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with expertise in Spring Boot and related technologies.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with React.js, Python, and AI/LLM technologies is a plus.
