Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Primarily responsible to carry out the treatment plan established by the Occupational Therapist for the rehabilitation of patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status.

• Provides occupational therapy intervention based on the plan of care
• Provides therapeutic exercises to develop strength and endurance, range of motion and flexibility; therapeutic activity to improve activities of daily living, use of adaptive equipment and adaptation of physical environment; neuromuscular re-education to improve balance, coordination, kinesthetic sense, posture, and proprioception; fine motor training, perceptual and cognitive retraining, sensorimotor activities, and other activities within the scope of practice

• Associate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
• Active American Heart Association BLS
• Valid in state Drivers License with current car insurance
