Onsite Special Education Teacher – Sunnyside, WA Area Position: Special Education Teacher (Self-Contained Classroom) Type: Full-Time, Onsite Schedule: 2025-2026 School Year Contract Pay Range: $37 - $50 per hour (based on experience, degree level) Company: Soliant Education Soliant Education is now seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district in the Sunnyside, WA area for the 2025-26 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position in a self-contained classroom serving elementary-aged students. Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction to elementary students in a self-contained classroom setting Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Support students with behavioral and academic needs Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet individual student needs Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and administration Participate in professional development and school-wide activities Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment Requirements: Must hold or be eligible for a Washington State Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement Experience working with behavioral caseloads preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Commitment to serving diverse student populations in Central Washington communities Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Weekly pay Supportive recruitment and placement process This opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a diverse and culturally rich educational environment.
