About the role

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year, serving middle school students in Phoenix, AZ. This role focuses on supporting students with Autism, requiring a strong foundation in special education strategies tailored to their unique learning needs. Key responsibilities include: Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with Autism Providing targeted instruction and behavioral support within a middle school setting Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth and development Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and social skills Preferred qualifications and experience: Proven experience working with students with Autism spectrum disorder Background in special education at the middle school level Relevant teaching licensure and certifications Ability to engage and motivate students through creative and adaptive teaching strategies Strong communication and teamwork skills This contract position offers medical, dental, and vision benefits, with guaranteed weekly hours and consistent weekly paychecks every Friday. Compensation ranges from $42 to $48 per hour, commensurate with experience and licensure status. Interviews will be conducted promptly via Zoom to expedite the hiring process.
