About the role
The Clinical Pharmacist supports the mission of the department, hospital, and health-system by preventing, identifying and resolving medication use issues to assure patients' safety, improve patients' satisfaction, optimize patients' outcome and minimize cost.
Responsibilities
- Preventing, identifying, and resolving medication use issues
- Improving patient satisfaction and outcomes
- Minimizing cost
- Actively participates in direct patient care programs
- Provides accurate, safe, timely, and appropriate medication therapy
- Collaborates with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff
- Places priority on patient-centered care
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
- Basic Life Support (BCLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
