About the role

The Clinical Pharmacist supports the mission of the department, hospital, and health-system by preventing, identifying and resolving medication use issues to assure patients' safety, improve patients' satisfaction, optimize patients' outcome and minimize cost.

Responsibilities

  • Preventing, identifying, and resolving medication use issues
  • Improving patient satisfaction and outcomes
  • Minimizing cost
  • Actively participates in direct patient care programs
  • Provides accurate, safe, timely, and appropriate medication therapy
  • Collaborates with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff
  • Places priority on patient-centered care

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
