About the role

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students. The SLP will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students’ communication skills in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and academic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment data
  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate therapy into the educational environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid State license or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • State Department of Education certification (as required)
