About the role

The Show Set Designer is responsible for the design, development, and documentation of the overall attraction, scenic and show elements primarily utilizing architectural and CAD software as a design and coordination tool.

Responsibilities

  • Conceives, develops, and iterates ride and show design elements
  • Designs the creative development and iteration of ride and show design elements
  • Develops and manages the show set design package
  • Participates in design, cost, schedule, and technical reviews
  • Mentors and provides guidance and training to staff
  • Builds bench strength within the staff
  • Establishes, builds, and maintains positive and productive team relationships
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must be a creative, innovative, organized thinker and problem solver
  • Must be proficient in both AutoCAD and Revit
  • Must have strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
