School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

A part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting. This contract position offers between 4 to 21 hours per week, spread over 2 to 3 days. The role involves delivering occupational therapy services to students, working closely under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) who is on site.

• Provide occupational therapy interventions to support student development and learning
• Collaborate with the OTR to implement individualized treatment plans
• Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and engage with educators and families to support student needs
• Adhere to school policies, procedures, and state regulations regarding occupational therapy services

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience working within a school environment, preferably with K-12 students
• Ability to work 2-3 days per week, flexible scheduling within school hours
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy best practices
