Responsibilities

  • Understanding the Business Landscape: Gain a deep understanding of various industries, considering trends, competitive dynamics, and client value propositions.
  • Data Utilization: Collaborate with internal and client teams to source relevant data, select statistical methods, and address data gaps or quality issues.
  • Analytical Approach: Apply suitable analytical methods to business inquiries, deliver actionable insights, and enhance forecasts.
  • Communicating Results: Craft presentations for internal and client audiences to narrate findings and data visualizations.
  • Teamwork and Expertise Development: Collaborate with teams to enhance expertise in data sources, methodologies, and processes.
  • Data Privacy and Ethical Standards: Keep up to date with data privacy laws, seek expert advice when needed, and ensure compliance in deliverables.
  • Embody and promote Microsoft’s culture and values.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in statistics, mathematics, analytics, data science, engineering, computer science, marketing, business, data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, business and financial analysis, or related field.
  • 6+ years experience using tools such as PowerBI/Tableau, DAX, R, SQL for data manipulation and visualization on large datasets.
  • Preferred qualifications include 4+ years in a partner or account management role, experience in digital media, dynamic critical thinking, and ability to communicate complex analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.
