Behavioral Health Counselor Per Diem Nights BHS

The Behavior Health Counselor is primarily responsible for monitoring services and providing community support services and therapeutic services.

• Monitor services and provide community support services and therapeutic services
• Use a basic knowledge of diagnostic characteristics, symptomology of primary mental illness and knowledge of medications, side effects and benefits

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Supervised-post graduate counseling experience (internship) with specified direct client contact under the supervision of a board-approved supervisor
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
