About the role
Under general supervision, the primary duties of a CT Technologist include performing imaging for both neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, adhering to age-specific guidelines and facility parameters.
Responsibilities
- Performing imaging for both neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric
- Conducting examinations according to established protocols
- Transmitting images for diagnostic interpretation
- Ensuring the hospital computer system is kept current with the progress of these exams
Requirements
- Associate Degree
- 1 year of experience
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Registered Computed Tomography Technician (RTCTARRT)
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) from American Heart Association
