Software Engineer III, Infrastructure, Google Kubernetes Engine

Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.

• Utilize your expertise to engage in and enhance the whole lifecycle of software development such as design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
• Collaborate within and across teams and learn.
• Support Google Kubernetes Engine, Kubernetes-like control planes operationally.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• 2 years of experience with software development using Go.
• Experience working with distributed systems.
