About the role
Oversee payer revenue strategy and contracting for one or more assigned markets or strategic business segments. Formulate and implement contracting strategies for assigned geographic market(s) or assigned business segment(s) in government managed care, specialty/horizontals, or value-based contracting. Oversee the design and implementation of value based care models and plans. Lead or participate in payer negotiation processes and major payer relations discussions. Maintain knowledge of assigned market(s) or segment(s) including the organization's delivery footprint and the payer and competitive environment. Support and integrate business plans and long-term strategies for assigned markets.
Responsibilities

- Formulate and implement contracting strategies for assigned geographic market(s) or assigned business segment(s) in government managed care, specialty/horizontals, or value-based contracting.
- Oversee the design and implementation of value based care models and plans.
- Lead or participate in payer negotiation processes and major payer relations discussions.
- Maintain knowledge of assigned market(s) or segment(s) including the organization's delivery footprint and the payer and competitive environment.
- Support and integrate business plans and long-term strategies for assigned markets.
- Monitor and analyze payer net revenue financial performance in assigned market(s) or segment(s) in collaboration with other teams.
- Accountable for setting and achieving budget targets for payer lifts and revenue growth.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
- Additional Preferences: 2-4 years of health-care experience, preferred.
- 2-4 years of revenue cycle or revenue integrity experience, preferred.
- Effective communication skills and conflict management a must have.
