About the role
This remote SLP role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to students in a virtual learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in a virtual learning environment
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver engaging teletherapy sessions using interactive digital platforms
- Monitor student progress through data collection and analysis
- Maintain detailed documentation of services and student outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate communication strategies into classroom activities
- Provide consultation to families regarding home practice activities
Requirements
- Active Michigan speech-language pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- At least 2 years of experience providing services in school settings
- Experience with virtual therapy delivery
