CSU Nurse Surveillance Unit

This full-time Staff Nurse position in the Cardiac Telemetry department at Sequoia Hospital involves providing comprehensive patient care, complying with organizational policies, and assisting in risk management. Qualifications include nursing experience or education, current licensure, and specific certifications. • Assumes responsibility and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients and their families.
• Complies with all applicable laws and rules, including Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and policies.
• Assists in risk evaluation and works collaboratively with facility leaders to implement risk corrective plans.
• Seek guidance when in doubt and promptly report any potential or suspected violations of standards or policies.

• One year-clinical nursing experience with Dignity Health in an Intensive Care Unit or six months experience plus a Bachelors Degree.
• Current California licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
• Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for all experienced nurses; within 90 days for new grads.
• Completion of annual competencies and unit specific training.
