Director, Financial Management (FP&A)- Card

Capital One, now the largest credit card issuer based on loans following the acquisition of Discover, is seeking finance leaders to join our transformative journey. We are looking for candidates to join our leadership team in Card FP&A who have superior analytical skills, the ability to build collaborative partnerships across a broad set of stakeholders, exceptional problem-solving abilities in undefined and complex situations, and robust stakeholder management.

• Generate ongoing analytical insights into business performance, the P&L and the consumer
• Develop and deliver insightful and influential senior management presentations
• Balance analytics and judgment, think beyond department objectives and influence corporate decision making

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other quantitative discipline, or military experience
• At least 7 years of experience in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, Strategy Consulting, or a combination
• At least 4 years’ experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
• At least 3 years of people management experience
