Technical Accountant

In this role, you will gain an understanding of business arrangements spanning multiple product and functional areas. You will be recording activity in a custom instance of SAP Analytics Cloud for Alphabet's Cross-Product Areas business calculations. You will lead the process to gather inputs and utilize SAP Analytics Cloud to calculate business recognition for agreements that span multiple Controllership teams.

• Recording activity in a custom instance of SAP Analytics Cloud for Alphabet's Cross-Product Areas business calculations
• Leading the process to gather inputs and utilize SAP Analytics Cloud to calculate business recognition for agreements that span multiple Controllership teams
• Reviewing business outputs by developing analysis to ensure accuracy and preparing various journal entries, reconciliations, and presentations as part of the quarterly process

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• 7 years of experience in public accounting firms and multinational companies
• Experience in working on accounting or accounting entries, technical accounting, business growth accounting, or a related role
• Experience with revenue recognition and related guidelines, such as ASC 606
