About the role

Responsibilities

  • Hire, supervise, and support Reentry Employment Specialists statewide.
  • Schedule and assign work; monitor quality and timeliness.
  • Provide coaching, professional development, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor program implementation and service delivery for consistency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with grant deliverables and performance metrics by developing policies and procedures, training staff, monitoring service data, and coordinating with partners to maintain program fidelity and quality across regions.
  • Audit case management documentation for accuracy and quality.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with DOC facilities, CBOs, and workforce partners.
  • Participate in statewide and regional meetings to improve reentry outcomes.
  • Travel to DOC facilities to/for engagement with partners.
  • Support initiatives related to Reentry 2030 and Second Chance Hiring.

Requirements

  • One year as a WorkSource Specialist 5 or equivalent
  • Two years as a WSS4 and one year of designated lead experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience in workforce development, social services, criminal justice, or related fields
  • A combination of education and/or relevant experience equal to nine years
