Special Ed Teacher

Deliver instruction tailored to students in Employability Classes (grades 9-12). Supervise students during school hours. Develop and implement lesson plans that meet learning objectives. Enter grades and maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with special education regulations by writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and conducting IEP meetings. Collaborate effectively with classroom aides and other staff members.

• Valid South Carolina Educator Certification with endorsement or specialty in Multi-categorical Special Education or Intellectual Disabilities (ID)
• Experience working with special education students in a high school setting is preferred
• Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and adherence to compliance standards
