Responsibilities Oversee and provide leadership to the nursing organization. Ensure regional markets align to the nursing ministry-wide function standards for the dynamic plan. Provide leadership, guidance and input regarding development and implementation of scope and standards of nursing practice in alignment with American Nurses Association (ANA), American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL), and nursing professional society recommendations. Provide input into the development and oversight of the implementation of policies, procedures, quality initiatives for patient experience, nursing engagement, patient throughput and staffing/productivity. Drive the use of nursing leadership evidence-based practices and accountability for nurse retention and well-being. Support and partner with staff regarding system-wide regulatory activities including pro-active mock surveys. Support regional teams in the event of citation response and clinical professional development for respective regions in conjunction with nursing professional societies/organizations. Foster the use of the Employee Benefits Program (EBP) related to nurse-driven indicators, as well as other clinically relevant opportunities identified with our Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) partners. Provide feedback from stakeholders, career coaching, career laddering, performance-based evaluations, alternative care models, and alignment with higher education institutions. Drive activities and implementations to improve associate recruitment and retention results in support of the mission of the organization. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Master's degree required. Work Experience: 5 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. 2 years of leadership or management experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred. Responsibilities
