Echo Technician

A specialized opportunity is available for a skilled echocardiography professional in Gypsum, CO. This contract position requires expertise in cardiac imaging, specifically transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, and is ideal for accomplished sonographers comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across multiple clinical environments, including inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, emergency rooms, and cath labs.

• Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), stress echo procedures (exercise and Dobutamine), and contrast studies using Optison or Definity.
• Execute bubble studies and accommodate pediatric TTE cases when needed.
• Accurately operate imaging equipment such as Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin.
• Document findings efficiently in electronic medical records, including Athena, Meditech, and PICOM.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining open communication and a positive attitude.
• Participate in an evening, night, and weekend call rotation.

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
• Experience with left-handed scanning techniques is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and receptiveness to feedback.
