WYCA Cadre Team Supervisor

The Youth Academy Residential Specialist 4 (working title is Cadre Supervisor) provides staff supervision, cadet leadership, and facility supervision including during non-traditional hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Supervises Cadre Team Leaders and Cadre Team members
• Manages day-to-day work schedule for Cadre Team
• Oversees Cadre Team Leaders and Cadre Team Members in executing program activities
• Directs Cadre Team Leaders and Cadre Team Members in assessing and addressing behavior and program performance of Cadets
• Provides staff supervision, cadet leadership, and facility supervision

• High school graduation or GED equivalent
• Four years of experience working with at-risk youth or related experience
• Two years of college may substitute for one year of the required experience

The Washington Youth ChalleNGe Academy (WYCA) is a voluntary program that includes a 22-week residential academy followed by a 24-month post-residential phase.
