Registered Nurse RN Medical PCU FT Nights Kissimmee

This Registered Nurse position in the Medical PCU requires providing and supervising direct and indirect nursing care, adhering to compliance plans, ensuring patient safety, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Qualifications include a nursing degree, valid license, BLS and ACLS certifications, EKG certification, and at least one year of RN PCU experience. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and professional certification.

• Providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups
• Utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating)
• Adhering to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable regulations
• Promoting exceptional patient experience through effective communication and relationships
• Communicating effectively with interdisciplinary team by completing thorough handoff communication

• Graduate of a school of nursing
• Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
• EKG Certification
• Recent 1 year of RN PCU experience
