Fiscal Analyst 1

The Fiscal Analyst 1 (FA1) is a permanent position located at the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla, Washington. The FA1 will be responsible for preparing and processing accounting entries for local accounts, accurately and efficiently processing deposit, withdrawal, transfer activity for locally held accounts, and reviewing trust accounts to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

• Prepare and process accounting entries for local accounts
• Accurately and efficiently process deposit, withdrawal, transfer activity for locally held accounts
• Review trust accounts to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
• Prepare monthly local fund financial reports
• Prepare and produce payment for local fund liabilities
• Prepare required State and Federal reports

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of relevant professional experience
