Patient Care Assistant II at CommonSpirit Health

• Assist with patients’ basic daily life activities
• Assist nursing staff with vital sign monitoring and preparing patient rooms
• Provide direct patient care as delegated by RN staff
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Assist in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs
• Accurately measure, record, and report intake and output
• Obtain and record daily weight
• Perform blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter

• High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or
• High School GED General Studies, upon hire and graduated from an accredited school of nursing or 1 year direct patient care experience, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
