Responsibilities
- Provide technical financial assistance, structural and administrative guidance and support to the Applied Coastal Research and Engineering and Washington Conservation Corps sections.
- Evaluate financial tracking data to determine technical compliance with project deliverables and regulatory requirements.
- Provide back-up information with Ecology invoices, as needed.
- Use agency standard computer software applications to create, maintain, and print documents.
- Effectively use basic math skills and financial systems including a strong understanding of decimals, percentages, and fractions.
- Read, analyze, and interpret statutes, rules, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Compose routine correspondence, draft documents, and reports for review, comment, finalization and distribution.
- Communicate effectively and timely, expressively and in writing, with co-workers, agency staff, clients, stakeholders and the general public.
- Maintain effective working relationships.
- Participate in group processes and on teams.
Requirements
- Nine (9) years of experience and/or education as described below:
- Experience:
- in environmental analysis, or environmental planning, or other allied field.
- Education:
- involving a major study in environmental, physical, or one of the natural sciences, environmental planning, finance, accounting, economics or other allied field.
