Senior Analyst I - Actuarial Pricing

Join a dynamic and growing team supporting the North America Small Commercial Insurance business. We are seeking a motivated Actuarial Analyst/Senior Actuarial Analyst with 3-5 years of experience in Python and strong understanding of the Insurance business.

• Collaborate with the onshore Actuarial team to develop and implement rater algorithms for Small Commercial Insurance using Python.
• Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by analyzing discrepancies, identifying root causes, and recommending corrections to rater algorithms.
• Explore, understand and improve the rating algorithms in Small Commercial Insurance pricing
• Utilize agile software development methodologies to iteratively enhance systems and processes.
• Address and resolve onshore ad-hoc requests independently with minimal supervision.
• Advocate for best practices in model development and foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex data challenges creatively.
• Two to five years of pricing experience in Property and Casualty insurance
• Proficiency in Python and data exploration
• Solid understanding of actuarial principles, methodologies, and the insurance or finance industry.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring data accuracy and quality.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
