Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Data Center Equipment

Google's custom-designed equipment makes up one of the largest and most powerful computing infrastructures in the world. The Manufacturing Operations team is responsible for providing the manufacturing capability to deliver this state-of-the-art physical infrastructure.

• Lead the end-to-end strategy for high-volume process development, implementation, and optimization across mechanical, electrical, and networking components
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Contract Manufacturer (CM) processes
• Drive cross-functional technical alignment with Hardware Design, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
• Establish and institutionalize quality processes by leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts and implement definitive corrective actions across the supply base

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in an electromechanical environment
• Experience in lean manufacturing principles, value stream mapping, and six Sigma methodologies

• Ability to travel up to 30% to partner with regional suppliers and contract manufacturers
