Supervisor, SFX Make-up, Prosthetics, & Wigs

Responsible for the daily operation of the SFX Makeup, Prosthetics, & Wigs Department’s team and functions including but not limited to maintaining cleanliness, safety procedures, and execution including pre-production, tests and fittings, rehearsals, production, and strike. Responsible for tracking and maintaining labor, stock, and materials, as well as sourcing, cost estimates, and purchasing for current and future projects for seasonal offerings or special events, either in-house or with vendors. Oversees the integrity of the makeup, prosthetics, and wigs and quality of the department and its products are in alignment with Universal standards. Adheres to OSHA requirements and Universal safety standards.

• Tracking and maintaining labor, stock, and materials, as well as sourcing, cost estimates, and purchasing for current and future projects
• Overseeing the integrity of the makeup, prosthetics, and wigs and quality of the department and its products are in alignment with Universal standards
• Adhering to OSHA requirements and Universal safety standards

• Strong knowledge of application and maintenance of makeup, prosthetics, and/or wigs
• Strong communication skills, highly organized, and able to prioritize numerous tasks
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changes quickly
• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and InDesign is a plus
