Manager, Technical Services (3rd Shift)

The Manager, Technical Services (3rd Shift) is responsible for maintaining strategic and daily operational plans for Rides & Attractions within the Technical Services Department.

• Maintaining strategic and daily operational plans for Rides & Attractions
• Providing technical guidance for all attractions under his or her area of responsibility
• Ensuring all Ride & Attraction equipment maintains the highest level of safety
• Coordinating and assigning technicians to set up, install, repair, and maintain equipment
• Maintaining a documentation system for all attractions and ensuring daily reports are completed
• Providing technical oversight duties and taking on technical responsibilities in the absence of technical support personnel
• Overseeing technical interaction with Attraction Responsible Engineers, Vendors, Sub-contractors, and other relevant parties
• Enforcing Ride & Attraction technical principles to provide a quality product and necessary deliverables to customers
• Supporting and advising Rides & Attractions Assistant Managers and the Rides Senior Director on how best to achieve this goal
• Developing and implementing action plans for the department's future successes
• Performing other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• 5-7 years of day-to-day operation of a theme park, theatre, or related business
• 3-5 years of operations management/team leadership experience
