Responsibilities
- Utilize knowledge and information required by the federal cooperative agreement, assembles and processes federal inspection certificates and documents.
- Responsible for auditing certificates for variance from federal inspection standards.
- Audit information for accuracy and completion to ensure compliance on submitted inspection certificates.
- Utilize federal on-line certification software to issue export certificates.
- Check the paperwork of other inspection staff within the region before certificates are issued.
- Use CRT to input inspection data and generate export grain certificates.
- Use AgTrax to input inspection data and generate domestic grain certificates.
- Apply a basic understanding and knowledge of the Grain inspection process and ability to correctly associate required documents with each type of inspection.
- Provide information and explanations regarding grain inspection services to program staff and customers.
- Work closely with the company representative to ensure inspection certificates are completed according to export deadlines.
- Respond to phone and email inquiries regarding inspection requirements.
- Responsible for document inventory and records incoming and outgoing billing documents.
Requirements
- One (1) year experience interpreting and applying laws, rules and standards, data processing, auditing, reconciling, or budgeting work.
