About the role
Responsible for developing and effectively soliciting new sales prospects as well as former clients for the purpose of selling group sales, events, tickets, teambuilding activities and meetings to achieve business and financial objectives for Universal Kids Resort (UKR) through sales volume
Responsibilities
- Develops, solicits and negotiates group bookings through direct outreach, special promotions, lead follow up, networking, and engagement with professional associations and memberships to achieve objectives for sales volume and revenue
- Drives hotel occupancy by packaging room blocks with special events and park access, team building activities and meal options
- Maintains resort knowledge throughout the theme park and hotel and continues to be well-versed in all Universal Kids Resort product offerings, procedures, and policies
Requirements
- Exceptional communication and presentational skills
- Technical acumen to effectively navigate point-of-sale and CRM systems including Salesforce, Delphi/Amadeus (Space Management/BEO), and Horizon/SAP POS/ticketing system is desirable
- Knowledge and experience working in Frisco, Dallas, and surrounding areas hospitality and/or event industry is preferred
- Exhibits sound judgement and confidence in making decisions that will impact the business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
