Executive Director Strategy

The Executive Director of Strategy is responsible for developing and leading comprehensive methods to direct the execution of multiple and interrelated programs and top initiatives required to achieve the strategic vision for AdventHealth Florida.

• Manages agendas by collecting, prioritizing, and completing follow-up activities related to agenda items by coordinating with senior executives and other leaders.
• Researches and obtains relevant market, demographic, geographic, regulatory, and industry data to develop assessments of external business and market factors.
• Provides program leadership on behalf of the CEO, working closely with executive sponsors and project teams on strategic initiatives.
• Leads project teams for new or emerging initiatives, developing proposals to meet CEO expectations and standards.
• Develops, recommends, and coordinates long-range plans and strategies to create a mission-focused environment that achieves business growth through expansion of products and market share.

• Bachelor's in business, healthcare or related field
• 10 years of business experience in such areas as hospital administration, strategic planning, business, operational, and financial planning
• 5 years of management/leadership experience
• Strong commitment to AH mission and ethics
• Ability to lead and manage strategy and operations team members
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, including decision-making, team-building, motivation, and conflict resolution
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel
