Financial Officer

Financial Officer for its New York, New York location. Duties: Perform financial modeling for forecasting, financial strategy development, and performance analysis.

• Perform financial modeling for forecasting, financial strategy development, and performance analysis
• Develop analytical frameworks and create business cases to support financially sound strategic decisions
• Conduct analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, and business development activities to support Product team
• Use Risks and Controls Governance to monitor processes and controls operations to mitigate financial and operational risks
• Review investment scenarios and perform sensitivity analysis
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance versus expectations, and provide updates on performance to management through periodic business reviews
• Portfolio capital monitoring, planning, and compliance
• Prepare analyses and decks to summarize and provide insights on portfolio performance and trends
• Generate actionable insights, and support development and monitoring of forecasting and market investment decision-making processes
• Assess business drivers, P&L performance, and maintain end user controls for files and tools
• Evaluate investment opportunities and evaluate portfolio profitability metrics
• Develop comparisons across products
• Execute analysis of annual Strategic/Operating Plans, CCAR, Pre-Provision Net Revenue forecasts, mid-year reforecasts and bi-monthly outlooks
• Analyze portfolio capital profile in capital planning and in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Monitor treasury management during interest rate risk analysis and funding strategy to inform forecast of portfolios’ P&L based on rates impact

• Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting or related field and 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, Operations Analyst or related position involving financial modeling, financial strategy development, and performance analysis
• Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive post-baccalaureate experience
