About the role
Aircraft Support Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Schedule and maintain a pre-determined timetable of servicing and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of machinery and equipment throughout TechOps
- Perform annual major service TPM's on equipment throughout TechOps that includes making repairs and adjustments to equipment, replacements of fluids, filters, belts, in accordance with approved manuals and procedures
- Complete minor repairs, adjustments, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment which may include motors and controls, pneumatic systems, stock retrievers, conveyor systems, production machines, industrial ovens, and machine shop equipment
- Use diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications for post-service checks
Requirements
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must read, write, speak, and understand English
- Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
- Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking, and styles
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
