About the role
A K-12 school in Pittston, PA seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational goals and needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students across K-12 grades with a focus on autism spectrum disorders, emotional disturbance, and MDS
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Hold a current Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in the state of Pennsylvania
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students across various disabilities, including autism and emotional disturbances
- Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently while delivering quality, student-centered care
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
