About the role
DSHS FTAA MOD Facility Manager | Are you a leader in the facility management arena? We are seeking a Facility Manager to join our team to support maintenance and operations for the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) at the Special Commitment Center (SCC) on McNeil Island.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the department of 21 staff including 6 direct reports, and 3 front line working supervisors.
- Plan, lead, and organize the work performed by the organization.
- Perform budget management on funds provided to minimize or eliminate any year-end overspending and assure appropriate use of the facilities resources.
Requirements
- 8 years of facility maintenance or facility management experience, at least 5 years of which must be in a lead, supervisory, and/or management capacity.
- Experience in planning/ managing long-range maintenance programs, budgeting, and/or staffing.
- Experience in managing computerized maintenance management systems.
