RN Emergency

The incumbent is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a patient assignment through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and other health care team members.

• Perform routine physical/psychosocial assessment to collect basic data
• Formulate a plan of care for individual needs
• Adapt planned educational programs and information to individual patients and family
• Ensure efficiency in the delivery of care to determine immediate priorities and to offer solutions for problems
• Make independent clinical decisions based on knowledge drawn from education and experience

• 2 years of consecutive recent ED and/or ICU experience
• Associates Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed or eligible for licensing in State as a Registered Nurse
