About the role
We are looking for a Community and Content Engineer to drive technical community initiatives from end-to-end help build a robust ecosystem for the language
Responsibilities
- Drive content initiatives that bring in new community members to the Swift programming language and support the existing ecosystem
- Write content for swift.org, forums.swift.org, and other channels
- Help drives an events content program
- Create support channels for all developers of Swift
- Minimum Qualifications: Experience building content and community programs for an open source community/ecosystem
- Ability to create technical content (sample code, written word, etc) independently and with a large team
- Ability to break down concepts per audience
- Experience building communication channels with moderation guidelines
- Proven experience with public speaking and technical writing skills for blogs and documentation
- Experience working with GitHub in a collaborative git environment with knowledge of content publishing tools
