Schedule: PRN Shift: Rotating shifts; can be scheduled 6:30 am-2:30 pm or 11:30 am-7:30 pm; will work weekends and holidays as needed Location: 2201 S Clear Creek RD, Killeen, TX 76549
The role you'll contribute: Under the direction of the Patient Services Supervisor of the Nutrition Services Department, this position performs assigned food service duties related to patients and caf customers. To that end, this position: Assembles and/or prepares items for patient food service, Caf Metro, and/or catered events, Prepares and delivers meals to patients, customers, and catered events, Stocks patient trayline with appropriate supplies, and Prepares late trays and delivers these to the patient units. The value you'll bring to the team: Maintains safe, sanitary work environment to ensure patient and customer protection by adhering to all HACCP regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage. Conveys all pertinent information to appropriate members of the Nutrition Services Team in a timely manner. Serves on patient and caf traylines as assigned. Prepares and dispenses beverages for patient trayline. Coordinates activities and/or assignments with other positions within the Nutrition Services Department to ensure efficient us of time and resources under the supervision of the Nutrition Services Supervisors. Performs cleaning of assigned equipment at the regularly scheduled intervals. Mains work area in clean, neat, and organized manner. May prepare salads and cold plates for patient and caf traylines. May inventory and stock the physicians lounge and patient nourishment areas throughout the hospital. May perform assigned duties at the Behavioral Health Center. Attends department and section meetings and/or in-services regularly. Practices customer service skills consistently and with genuine conviction. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Preferred qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 1 years of related work experience
