Payroll Operations Lead (Fiscal Analyst 4)

The Payroll Operations Lead, Fiscal Analyst 4 plays a key role in supporting DOH employees by providing oversight, review, and guidance to ensure accuracy and compliance on payroll-related actions and entries.

• Be a payroll subject matter expert and essential contact for questions, inquiries and assistance.
• Coordinate with DOH staff and other state agencies to process, analyze, and correct transactions in HRMS & AFRS.
• Review and guide payroll actions, including general ledger entries, employee overpayments, and journal vouchers.
• Oversee administration of the Shared Leave Program and related payroll and accounting processes.
• Provide feedback and support to payroll team members to ensure quality and efficiency.

• A skilled payroll professional with strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience working with payroll systems, financial reconciliations, and complex payroll adjustments is highly valuable.
• Leadership, collaboration, and clear communication are key to success in this role.
