About the role

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the contract school year term, starting in January and concluding at the end of the school year. This position serves students across K-12 in one high school and one small elementary school, providing comprehensive speech and language support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students grades K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably in both elementary and high school environments
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is desirable
  • Background in pediatric speech-language pathology
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy protocols and healthcare regulations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
