Home Infusion Pharmacist

A Clinical Pharmacist opportunity is available for a 3-month contract supporting a specialty infusion pharmacy site. This role requires multi-state licensure in Alabama and Tennessee and offers part-time hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an average of 24-35 hours weekly.

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients
• Monitor therapy outcomes and suggest interventions as needed
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care
• Oversee pharmacy technician activities and performance
• Maintain clear communication with intake, referral, and pharmacy teams
• Participate in staff training and quality improvement initiatives

• BS or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited program
• Current unrestricted pharmacy licenses in AL and TN (both required)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in specialty, infusion, retail, mail-order, or hospital pharmacy preferred
• Experience working with pharmacy technicians and other clinical staff
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy operations and payer contracts preferred
• Proficiency with CareTend (CPR+ upgrade) preferred
• Strong knowledge of specialty therapies and patient qualification processes
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications
