About the role
The Partner Marketing Manager will lead co-marketing efforts with ASUS, one of Microsoft’s top six global OEM ecosystem partners
Responsibilities
- Planning
- Support and influence the design of the partner marketing plan for Windows devices at the regional and subsidiary level
- Define and communicate Microsoft’s device marketing priorities and plans for ASUS devices
- Plan for and manage all budgetary marketing investments in the regions
- Maximize the impact of Microsoft’s co-marketing investments across consumer and commercial segments
- Cross-Group Collaboration
- Work closely with local contacts (marketing managers, channel executives) in both ASUS and Microsoft to manage investments and campaigns
- Act as the partner advocate for ASUS within DPS, WDS, and Windows
- Support ASUS marketing and sales teams in the successful landing of programs
- Business Operational Excellence
- Deliver excellence in co-marketing program budget planning and management
- Oversee the allocation of shared marketing investment programs
- Support ROI analysis for the marketing organization and recommend adjustments to capitalize on market opportunities
- Identify trends in partner and competitor activity to anticipate opportunities or risks and propose appropriate marketing solutions
- Collaborate with the regional Marketing Operations team to approve local purchase orders (POs), ensure appropriate Proof of Execution (POE), and drive reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 5+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience OR equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in global sales and marketing, with experience working with complex partners
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years sales, marketing, technology-based, or business development experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 6+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience OR equivalent experience
- 4+ years experience managing multi-million-dollar marketing investments and driving strategic planning and execution across complex regional initiatives
- 6+ years experience building multi-level trust relationships within a large or multinational account including management of executive relationships
- Familiarity with SMB customer segments, including their behaviors and preferences
- Passion for devices, platforms, and services, with knowledge of OEMs, partner ecosystems, and both consumer and commercial channel marketing
- Background in technology hardware marketing, with hands-on experience in multichannel campaigns and partner-driven distribution strategies
- Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across partner accounts, marketing teams, and product groups
- Proven ability to lead virtually and contribute individually, influencing outcomes without direct authority
- Skilled in setting goals and aligning cross-functional teams to achieve defined business results
- Capable of identifying emerging opportunities and translating them into actionable marketing priorities
