• Coordinates the continuity of nursing care provided and takes the initiative to ensure appropriate levels and quality of care will be provided.
• Collaborates with other departments and disciplines to provide continuity of patient care and promote teamwork.
• Acts as a liaison between physicians, sales consultants, internal customers and management team with pertinent and ongoing communication.
• Makes adjustments to the daily schedule to accommodate changes and coordinate staff assignments while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Assesses staff competence when making assignments.
• Utilizes principles of labor tracking and adheres to budgetary guidelines.
• Supports the customer and employee satisfaction activities of the organization.
• Maintains good relationships with physicians, management, other departments, and staff.
• Able to identify individualized plan of care through the use of APIE.
• Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities.
• Demonstrates accurate documentation and monitoring of activities as needed.
• Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
• Promotes a safe environment.
• Demonstrates appropriate action in emergency situations, demonstrates awareness and control of hazards which may endanger patients, visitors and employees, identifies and reports environmental concerns to the management team.
• Ensures adherence to appropriate regulatory standards and AdventHealth policy procedure.

• Graduate of nursing school
• Current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse
• CPR certification
