Join athenahealth as a Member of Technical Staff at the Associate level, based in Bangalore - Whitefield, in a hybrid working model. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful software solutions in healthcare technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, debug, and deploy scalable and maintainable software solutions
  • Create clear and detailed technical design documentation for assigned projects
  • Conduct and participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and data services
  • Implement features with a strong understanding of web technologies and relational databases
  • Follow coding standards and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
  • Troubleshoot issues in Unix/Linux environments and assist in production support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or related technical field
  • 2 to 5 years of professional software development experience
  • Proficient in modern programming languages, notably Java
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and related integration technologies
