Public Benefits Specialist 5 (PBS5)

The Public Benefits Specialist 5 (PBS5) will hire and supervise a team of Public Benefit Specialists 1-4 in an on-site and virtual financial unit setting.

• Supervise Public Benefit Specialists that determines eligibility for the Child Care Programs
• Ensure workers are being held accountable for attendance, training, accuracy, and overall job performance
• Manage by reviewing and understanding the Work Force Optimization (WFO) program

• One year of experience as a Public Benefits Specialist 3 or 4
• Six months of the required experience must be in a Call Center environment
• Previous experience reading and interpreting Washington Administrative Code (WAC) and other procedural and policy manuals
