About the role

Delta Professional Services is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Support to support hiring operations by performing fingerprinting and pre-employment drug testing for new hire candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fingerprinting for new hire candidates using approved systems and capture protocols.
  • Verify candidate identity, ensure accurate chain-of-custody, and submit prints to the appropriate authorities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain secure handling, storage, and transmission of sensitive personal information.
  • Administer and/or coordinate DOT-compliant pre-employment drug tests (e.g., urine collection), including candidate intake, custody-and-control forms (CCFs), and timely lab submission.
  • Monitor and track test status and results; escalate issues and non-compliant findings to the appropriate compliance and HR stakeholders.
  • Ensure testing processes meet applicable standards and company policy (e.g., site setup, donor privacy, specimen integrity, documentation).
  • Ensure complete, accurate documentation for fingerprinting and drug testing (chain-of-custody, collection notes, system entries).
  • Protect confidential information in line with privacy laws and company standards.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, Security, and Compliance to resolve issues and align on candidate eligibility decisions.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in compliance, HR operations, security screening, healthcare collection, or a regulated testing environment.
  • Familiarity with chain-of-custody procedures, identity verification, and secure data handling.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to follow standardized protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly with candidates and internal teams.
  • Ability to work with confidential/sensitive information and maintain strict discretion.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
