About the role

This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position serves a K-12 special education cooperative in the Joliet, IL area for the 2025/2026 school year.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary and junior high students on the Autism spectrum
  • Manage caseloads of approximately 35 students distributed among three schools
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement effective speech and language interventions

Requirements

  • Valid SLP Certification with school-based experience
  • CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) highly preferred
  • Experience working with students on the Autism spectrum
  • Ability to manage caseloads and maintain detailed documentation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within a school setting
